Workshop Objectives

- Explore the importance of SEL in promoting academic success and emotional well-being.
- Implementing Calm Down Corners:
- Discuss the concept of calm down corners and their role in helping students regulate emotions.
- Share practical tips for creating and maintaining calm down corners in various classroom settings.
- Engage in hands-on activities to design personalized calm down corners that suit diverse student needs.
- Emotional Regulation Techniques:
- Introduce strategies for teaching emotional regulation skills to students.
- Explore mindfulness practices and breathing techniques that can be integrated into daily routines.
- Provide role-playing scenarios to practice responding to emotional outbursts and conflicts effectively.
