DIY Automata (Butterfly)

Description

The concept of automata originates from a self-operating machine, or an animated sculpture. Automata is the plural form of an automation, which is an automatic (or self-operating) machine or more commonly known as a robot. Automata is a combination of mechanical equipment and a figure (or artefact). Universal and simple equipment, such as crank, cam, and the link system, is used as the mechanical component of the machine. A figure, that moves up, down, right and left, will be attached to this equipment for the automata to function.
