In Latihan Peperiksaan Cita Darjah 3, Primary 3 students are introduced to an examinationstyle
context – a stage that marks the beginning of the challenge of navigating longer,
sequential texts.

This book aims to help Primary 3 students become familiar with the format of the
examinations they will eventually sit for. As such, it is intended to develop students’ ability to
use the Malay language within a more formal academic context.

Furthermore, the book seeks to continue building the Malay language literacy of Primary 3
students in a progressive manner, while also focusing on language use which aligns with the
latest Malay Language syllabus issued by the Ministry of Education, Singapore.
