Latihan Tubi Cita Darjah 1 aims to revisit what young learners have encountered since their
time in Kindergarten 1 and 2. It begins with an introduction to syllable and vocabulary
building through the identification of objects. It then progresses to how these objects can be
incorporated into sentences, along the use of phrases appropriate to specific contexts.

Through this structured approach, it is hoped that this book will help Primary 1 students
develop their Malay language literacy progressively, while fostering an understanding of
language use in context – all in alignment with the latest Malay Language syllabus issued by
the Ministry of Education, Singapore.
